The Strategy & Governance thematic group is an inclusive space for the development of knowledge and the sharing of experiences on research topics related to the strategy and governance of firms. It promotes the development of relevant knowledge on decision-making and implementation processes of strategy and on governance structures (formal and informal), emphasizing theoretical and methodological pluralism to capture the variety/variability of businesses.
The thematic group aims to:
- Facilitate the sharing of research and teaching experiences among scholars, with particular attention to young researchers;
- Encourage the development of research groups to compete for grants at national/international level;
- Organize activities for the dissemination of results from completed studies or the sharing of work in progress;
- Favor cross-fertilization processes with practitioners;
- Support networking activities with international scholars affiliated with major global management scientific societies (AoM, BAM, or EURAM).
