Sinergie SIMA Conference 2023

Dear Colleagues,

the Sinergie-SIMA 2023 Conference is approaching, and the scientific and organizational work is proceeding apace. As you know, the Conference will be held on 29 and 30 June 2023 in the enchanting city of Bari. LUM University and “Aldo Moro” University of Bari, together with Sinergie and SIMA, are working to make the next edition highly rewarding from both a scientific and relational point of view.

It is with great pleasure and pride that we share with you the success achieved so far: over 260 long and short paper submissions have been submitted by colleagues from all over the world. There are all the conditions for a new, very interesting edition of our Scientific Conference.

Long and short papers are currently in the peer review phase, this year managed by the SIMA Thematic Groups in collaboration with Sinergie. The possibility for the authors to identify, in the submission phase, the two tracks primarily pertaining to their work allows for a double-blind review by experts and those interested in the topics of each Group.

Lastly, we address our young colleagues and young scholars, recalling the importance of the opportunity to apply also for the work of the PDW, which will be held on the afternoon of 28 June. In this case, the deadline has been extended to next April 15, to give many the opportunity to access this interesting training and relational experience. With the precious collaboration of NEXT Gen, the participants will also be able to dedicate themselves, in the evening, to one of the many moments of SIMA Life, rediscovering the beauties of Bari during an evening walk and dinner.
