Description: Predatory journals represent a global threat to scientific integrity and public trust in science. They accept articles for publication - against payment of high authors’ fees — without performing promised checks for issues such as plagiarism and scientific quality. The aim of the workshop is to delve into this “dark world” of publishing and analyse the available instruments to address this dangerous and growing phenomenon with the intervention of three international experts on this topic.
Deadline: Those interested in attending the workshop must connect to the above link by 2:50 pm on 2 December 2022. At the end of the interventions of the three international speakers, it will be possible to intervene to ask questions and/or share reflections.
