In a world in which everything is customized and tailor-made, in which the value of any experience, service, product grows in proportion to its level of customization, to its being "tailor-made," when I was first told about the beautiful idea of the Festival of Management I thought it was revolutionary, already in its intentions, first of all in this: in its avowed desire to address EVERYONE.
No targeting or specific audiences: its distinctiveness lies in the generosity of making a specialized skill accessible for the population, in the plurality of professional sectors, but also of social categories, so that everyone can learn it and use it to improve their lives.
The Festival of Management will be revolutionary in many ways. It arises from the academy (in content) to emerge from it (in languages) by shaking the solid foundations of knowledge from within. It comes out of the compound edges of academia and business and walks the colorful road of the Festival. A pop language, a disorienting style, new, engaging formats. With the physical and digital it puts everything in, not only space, but also the time by anticipating, with a studied waiting-for narrative on all platforms, believing in the experience of the present, with a rich proposal of content and themes, and documenting for those who want to re-experience them, with the stories that will be available on-demand. A revolution that starts in Milan and reaches all the way to the Metaverse. A revolution that has been the most compelling challenge, for us who have given the Festival a voice, through communication.
But perhaps, come to think of it, this Festival with a bombastic personality has given itself a voice.
"We want to speak to everyone and we want to shout it out!" our Festival seems to say with proud firmness. "We want to educate them but also entertain them." He promises. And we believe him. We look forward to February 3th and 4th, 2023, to finally become all managers!
