We have been studying formal organizations for at least a century, if not more, and there isn't much we don't know about them. Even a recent phenomenon - the digital transformation of contemporary organizations - has attracted a lot of attention and a lot of studies have been done, with interesting results. But digitization has also opened wide doors for outside organization, despite and against formal organizations. How do people organize demonstrations in Belarus, Poland or, for that matter, how do the Proud Boys do in the United States? In fact, there is no need for an a priori moral evaluation, even if a posteriori one is always welcome. We simply need to know more about the informal organization, which has always been present, but which has now spread thanks to globalization and digitization.
