SIMA - BAM Collaborative Research Award
Italian Society of Management (SIMA) and British Academy of Management Grant (BAM)
Italian-British Collaborative Research Grant Scheme
The Italian Society of Management (SIMA) and the British Academy of Management (BAM), the academic and scientific association of English management professors, are delighted to announce the launch of a new joint research fellowship, as part of our collaborative partnership . This new scheme, formally announced at the SIMA Synergies Conference (2020), will facilitate collaboration between scholars across borders and will run in 2021. The application portal will be open from July 2021, with grants awarded from the beginning of 2022. I fellows will present their results at both the SIMA and BAM annual conferences.
This program aims to support and promote international research collaborations between management researchers in Italy and the UK. It aims to support the development of SIMA and BAM members who are at an early stage in their careers.
Established researchers can also apply. The scheme is open to all SIMA and BAM Members; Non-members wishing to enroll in the program may join SIMA or BAM as appropriate.
Potential candidates looking for collaborators in the other country can post "matchmaking notices" outlining their areas of interest on a dedicated page of the SIMA and BAM websites once the scheme has been launched.
The maximum value of the prize will be £ 4,000 pounds (approximately € 4,500 based on current exchange rates), funded equally by SIMA and BAM. An optional joint membership will be available in 2021 for new and existing BAM and SIMA members.
