Description:
The purpose of the thematic group is to promote the exchange and development of knowledge regarding artificial intelligence and its implications for businesses, their stakeholders, the economy, and society at large.
The thematic group's activities will focus on fostering research collaborations among participants and enhancing engagements with firms and institutions in order to delve into recognised experiences and generate an array of potential future scenarios.
The group aims to provide participants with a diverse range of methodological approaches, theoretical and disciplinary perspectives, and opportunities to network with other scholars, firms, and institutions. Additionally, participants to the group will have the chance to launch new research projects on the subject, which may be submitted for raising funds from national, EU, and international institutions.
Activities
The group will promote quality research on the topic. To foster new scholarly collaborations, frequent interactions with other thematic groups and other national and international scientific societies will be beneficial. Moreover, the participation of consultants, executives, startuppers, entrepreneurs, and in general the “practitioners” community is highly welcome and encouraged. The group will design, organize and execute a range of communication activities to ensure the visibility of its initiatives and participation of scholars and practitioners.
Il gruppo curerà attività sistematiche di comunicazione per garantire la visibilità delle iniziative e la partecipazione.
o Workshop-Convegni
Through interaction with businesses and institutions, the group aims to promote the organization of workshops, seminars, surveys, research projects, experiments, and thematic observatories. Among the initiatives, an annual panel/workshop on Artificial Intelligence in Management will be organized; this might be planned within the SIMA Sinergie Annual Conference or the SIMA Festival of Management or in standalone fashion.
o Call for papers-chapters e Special Tracks
At the SIMA Sinergie Annual Conference, the group will promote a special track. Hopefully, the thematic group's members will alternately propose the launch of call for papers for special issues or calls for chapters.
