Description: The method of structural equation models based on partial least squares (Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling, PLS-SEM) is experiencing a very rapid diffusion in management research due to its ability to combine scientific rigor and relevance of results. The objective of this special issue is to investigate the possible applications of PLS-SEM as a tool to answer key research questions in the field of quality management (for example, to formulate predictive models of the quality perceived by customers), with particular reference to advanced PLS-SEM techniques, the result of recent methodological developments.
