Convegno Sinergie SIMA 2023

Il 19 aprile 2023 il Consiglio Direttivo ha approvato all’unanimità il nuovo Journal ranking AIDEA. Sebbene gli accademici AIDEA lavorino in un’area non bibliometrica, che adotta ai fini della valutazione la metodologia la “peer review”, il journal ranking AIDEA 2023 puo’ agire da guida ed orientamento nella selezione di riviste “qualificate” e dall’elevata “reputazione” dove pubblicare i propri studi.
Siamo tutti consapevoli che la “reputazione” delle proprie pubblicazioni e delle riviste in cui si pubblica è un valore che deve essere attentamente preservato, mentre pensare solo ai “numeri” delle proprie pubblicazioni appare senza significato. In particolare, pratiche sleali, che privilegiano il moltiplicarsi di pubblicazioni con eventuali “scambi reciproci” fra colleghi, e/o l’orientamento verso soluzioni “meno complicate” in riviste dall’apparente reputazione, ma aventi un processo di revisione/accettazione non rigoroso, possono comportare nel tempo l’emergere di diffusi elementi di negatività nella nostra comunità scientifica.

- BAM2023 Conference:
|
We are pleased to confirm over 900 research papers will be scheduled for presentation at the BAM2023 Conference and we will release the full schedule by the end of July. We have an exciting programme of sessions confirmed, including high-level keynote panels, interactive Professional Development Workshops (PDWs) and lots of opportunities to network.

During the Virtual Day (1st September) we are pleased to welcome Professor Anita McGahan and Professor Tima Bansal to deliver the first keynote on the theme of ‘Disrupting Business Models: Strategies and Policy'. On Tuesday 5th September, we are delighted to welcome Professor David Teece and Professor Richard Whittington who will present a keynote for the Grand Conference Opening on 'Building a Sustainable Future: The Intertwined Role of Dynamic Capabilities, Government and Society', which will be live-streamed to our virtual attendees with live Q&A. On Wednesday 6th September, the theme of the keynote panel will be ‘Leadership for Sustainability’ and speakers include Mette Morsing of PRME, Robin Sundaram and Sowmya Parthasarathy; this will also be live-streamed with live Q&A.

We are pleased to confirm 30 Professional Development Workshops (PDWs) have been shortlisted this year. PDWs are one of the most popular elements of BAM Conferences. They cover many aspects of business and management scholarship including research, teaching and engagement with practice, and around half are being offered as part of the Virtual Day’s programme. Conference participants will have an opportunity to pre-register for PDWs on a first-come-first-serve basis. The full list of PDWs accepted can be viewed HERE. The pre-registration booking will open on the 31st July so if you have registered to attend the Conference then please look out for the email. If you are attending virtually, you will have the choice of up to 14 PDWs to register for during the virtual day.

On Monday 4th September there will be a number of activities organised by SIGs/Tracks and Networks, including joint track events, informal gatherings and workshops. Current confirmed activities can be viewed HERE. Look out for more to be published shortly.
