the Summer Edition 2024 of the SIMA-SIM-BAM SCHOOL OF RESEARCH METHODS is approaching! Just like last year, the summer school will take place from July 17th to July 20th in the marvelous setting of Certosa di Pontignano (Siena). The recent diffusion and proliferation of (new) technologies and the demand for digital skills have prompted us to choose this year’s theme, shaping three immersive days where theory and practice intersect. In fact, the summer schoolis dedicated to “An introduction to Python, Network Analysis and Machine Learning”.

A faculty of 5 renowned and interdisciplinary scholars will provide you with the fundamentals of the following topics:

- Complementing Python with ChatGPTPython (Gian Piero Cervellera),

- Digital Network Analysis (Alessandro Caliandro and Ilir Rama),

- Machine learning to investigate complex systems (Michele Tumminello)
|
- Computational Text Analysis in Organization and Management Theory (Simone Santoni)

Registration closes on June 16th, with an early bird fee of 450 euro (double room) or 560 euro (single room) for those registering no later than June 6th.
